Easily the best meal of our week in New York! We visited to celebrate my spouse's birthday. The staff took wonderful care of us, noted our idiosyncratic allergies and recommended dishes and drinks. Everything was excellent; the manicotti was a highlight and we wish we'd ordered the dumplings earlier in our meal before we were full. We opted for sidewalk seating, and while the bike shop next door was a little rowdy, we never felt crowded and watching neighborhood dogs walk by was fun. Thanks for a great evening!

Exceptional service from all staff members we interacted with (including manager Josh, executive chef Haley, server Jessie and bartender whose name I unfortulately missed), eclectic atmosphere (down to the chosen wallpaper, candlelight and the PLAYLIST) and the food (every dish, from the whipped corn to the chile mac and cheese to the mustard green salad and the cocktails) speaks for itself. Extremely sad to see this gem go, but excited for what chef Haley, management and the rest of the team will come up with next.

My wife is Vegan and I needed a good place to take her for her birthday. We were visiting New York City, So I search far And wide to find a suitable place. I have to say that cadence was above my expectations. We ordered 90% of the menu and there wasn’t a single thing we love. Our server Iyanna had great recommendations for both food and drinks And Tony Who was at the bar was amazing as well. We were late for our reservation due to Travel conflicts And we called ahead of time and had our reservation changed without any argument. I love this place and will definitely go back. But I have to end this review with saying the cornbread and Nashville sandwich took my breath away. (Did not get a picture of everything forgot to take them food was too good)

12/10… The absolute best fine dining I’ve experienced from the vibe, customer service and high quality food. Every single delicious penny was very well spent!!! Driving back in August before closing in September.

Cadence was a pleasant surprise for me. Vegan restaurants can be hit or miss, usually misses, but this place was great. First, I loved the décor: very cozy yet still whimsical. It’s a sharing menu, which I enjoy because I love variety. I enjoyed most of what I ordered, with the dumplings and cornbread being the standouts. And the wedge salad had no business being that delicious and creamy! Highly recommend visiting before they shut their doors for good.

As a vegetarian for nearly five years, I’m always on the lookout for top-notch vegetarian restaurants, especially when traveling. Last year, during my first visit to New York, I was recommended to try Cadence, and it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish was incredibly flavorful and unique. This year, upon my return, I made sure to book my first dinner there. For a whole year, I had been dreaming of their oyster mushroom waffle - hands down the best vegetarian dish I’ve ever had, and I’ve tried many! Thank you, Cadence, for another exceptional dining experience. The food arrived quickly, and the service was outstanding.
